Today we're gonna show you how to flash sony Xperia Z5 Compact (E5823/E5803) and Xperia Z5 Compact Docomo (SO-02H)
Flashing is a method to repair bricked software in android. Such as, bootloop or softbrick, system app crash etc. Flashing also a method to upgrade, downgrade, and reinstall your operating system in a phone.

lets get startedPre-requisites for Flashing Sony Xperia Z5 Compact
1. You need a PC and USB cable. Make sure your PC and USB cable is usable or still good enough for data transfer. This is important, Using a broken USB cable can brick your phone.
2. Install Sony flashtool and driver on your PC. Download link and guide for installation you can check on my other post How To Install Sony Xperia Flashtool and Drivers Recommended flashtool version for flashing xperia Z5 Compact is v.0.9.23 or later
3. Download Xperia Z5 Compact ftf file (firmware) below
Xperia Z5 Compact (E5823)
E5823_32.4.A.0.160_Customized AU .ftf (nougat 7.1.1)
for Xperia Z5 Compact Docomo you can download in ftf.andro.plus choose SO-02Hafter firmware downloaded move it to C;/users/your_pc_name/.flashtool/firmwares folder.
4. Make sure your xperia battery 50% or more left
5. Flashing will erase all your data. Because of that, we recommend you to backup your important data.
Flashing Guide for Xperia Z5 Compact and Z5 Compact Docomo
1. Open flashtool. Make sure your PC connected to the internet. Cause, flashtool will syncronize device data.
2. Click on flash logo then select flashmode. Device selector window will opened.
3. Cause you have moved downloaded firmware to firmwares folder, so you don't to browse firmware folder. Except, you haven't. So, you need to select located firmware folder.
4. Click on the arrows beside Z5 compact until build number show up. Then click on the build number. In wipe sin option, check USERDATA or you can check them all. In Exclude sin check CACHE, FOTAKERNEL, and PARTITION or you can UNCHECK them all. In Exclude Misc-TA just check FOTA-RESET or UNCHECK all. Make sure you check like our instruction. Except you're The PRO one :D . Then click flash. Flashtool will prepare firmware for flashing. Just wait a second.
5. After phone connection pop up showed up. Turn off your Xperia Z5 Compact. Then plug your phone to PC using USB cable by holding Volume Down button. if the phone connected, Green Led will turn on and flashing process will started. Just wait for a moment
If the green bar ended and "flashing finished" showed up on flashtool log. it means your phone flashed succesfully. Unplug your xperia and turn it on. first booting will take a time. So, don't worry about it.
